Thanks for your encouragement K. My very long story was posted in forum 4, but here is my summarized story: Went on Allesse (the worst kind of pill for hair) in April 2000. Noticed some hair loss in late May, thought nothing of it and chalked it up to stress. Went off pill in August because of emotional problems and started shedding copious amounts of hair. Didn't really start fully obsessing aobut it until about February. Noticed regrowth about 3 weeks ago... keeping fingers crossed. Minimal amount of hair lost in shower and blowdrying this morning and found only two hairs on shirt.
I don't know if this is the end or not. I just hope it is. I think I am going to go for a scalp biopsy. The anxiety has probably made matters worst. I have been a bit of a hypochondriac and now I feel the the boy who cried wolf with this hair loss because friends and family just dismiss it as another obsession of mine. One thing this has taught me is to stop sweating the small stuff! Should I recover fully, I will try and lead a less stressful, enjoyable life.
I am scared that regrowth can still mean AGA. It seems that I have recovered most of the volume from the back and sides but still not enough at the top.
