Thanks for the quick reply. I don't think my doc knows a whole lot about the effects of cysperone acetate although that is a good question. No, she thinks Diane is the best pill for me. I am just wondering if a different progesterone would help with the flabbiness I now have. When I was on desogen I never had the flabbiness. She seems to believe, as does the lab which analyzed my results, that my DHEA is low especially when compared to my cortisol levels. Therefore, it is impacting the production of my estradiol and testosterone. I should let you know that ever since my hairloss and before I was on the pill, I was suffering from not the best libido, not trouble with orgasms, but just wanting to get started in the first place. I also was getting more fatiqued by each afternoon. Some was normal aging, but most was not (I am 41). Anyway, it is the best answer I have had so far. Does the cysperone asctate effect your DHEA production? I don't know enough about it. LEt me know. I just think it is odd that my estradiol is still low while being on the pill. You got to wonder what it was like before I went on the pill?

Switched pills in November. went off them in march. Started heavy shedding in May. Lost 1/2 of hair mass already. Should I go back on the pill? Have I been patient enough? If I am suffering from TE, how much longer will this go on and is it conceivable that I could go completely bald? Calling Doctor today.
