I was on bcp's for 11 yrs and changed last Nov/Dec. then went off in March and by May was loosing TONS of hair--so much so that I cut it all off! On one hand I want me to go back on the pill, but I am still so reluctant. I think I see some regrowth, but I am really trying not to be too optimistic because I don't want to think I am out in the clear. Probably the wrong attitude to take but because I can loose 20-30 hairs just by running my fingers through it, I'm way wary of optimism. If your hair had stopped falling out then I would not have gone back on the pill. One week late isn't so bad. That could just be your body still trying to adjust. Of course I am no expert, but if you went off the pill for a reason, irregularity should not be another to go back on. Besides, maybe being 'irregular' isn't irregular for you. If you are comfortable back on the pill then don't question yourself. If you aren't, then take a deep breath and follow your instincts. So a question for you. What signs of 'regrowth' did you see?
