Hi! I haven't posted here in a long time but have been reading up on the new Yasmin pill. At www.clissman.com it gives the patient leaflet on Yasmin and it doesn't list scalp hairloss at all under side effects. I was on Demulen for many years and it did list scalp hairloss at the very end of the list. I wonder if hairloss is NOT a side effect of this new pill. I would love to hear from anyone who has called their gyno for a prescription. I suspect most of us will be educating our gynos on this new pill because they may not have heard of it. I've been off Diane 35 for 9 months and am still having a terrible time but I have AGA and am hoping this new pill might reverse some of my symptoms. Please write if you have any more info on Yasmin. I have had similar experience with Levora although my symptoms are different. I've experienced an increase in blood pressure; irritability and insomia. Like you, Jen, I used to take Desogen until my insurance carrier decided to drop it. I would like to know if anyone else has had similar experiences as Jen and myself.
