hi everyone this might be kinda long... i have been on diane and minoxidil 2% for about 8 months now. diane for cysts in my ovaries and minoxidil for hair loss. i have had great results for my hair and i really dont know if i should give the credit to diane or minoxidil or maybe the combination. but anyways, as of next month, i am coming off of diane. my doctor told me that since i was using both at the same time for treatment, i will not lose my hair all of a sudden when i stop the minoxidil as i would if i was using it alone.
but now i'm scared. should i also stop the minoxidil at the same time as diane or should i only stop diane. i'm scared of stoping both and having all my new hair fall out again. and i'm afraid of stoping only diane, taking minoxidil and then never being able to cut that because of the hair you lose once you stop.
has anyone had this problem...please help!
