As a resident of the US I've had to purchase Diane over the internet. For a while I was on Androcur, Diane 35, and Spironolactone. After about 1.5 years I dropped off the Androcur. I've been on Diane about 3.5 years. This combination did help my AGA (including regrowth) and excess facial hair (actually the spironolactone did this all on its own). I have discussed Diane and cyproterone with my Ob-Gyn and an endocrinologist. I even saw Dr. Bergfeld at the Cleveland Clinic. Of course none of these doctors could "prescribe" Diane but they really didn't deter me from going on the meds either. I am debating switching from Diane 35 to Ortho-Tricyclin because it is a better known drug in the US and I like the idea that my doctors will be thoroughly knowledgeable with the long term effects. I've read all most all of the posts on this site and am really confused. I have had no negative side effects on Diane but I'm not sure how long a woman can safely stay on Diane. I'm 37 with no other medical problems. Can anyone from a country where Diane is prescribed ask their doctor how long we can stay on Diane? Thanks much! Linda

Hi I've just finished my third pack of diane-35 and haven't seen a real imprvement in my skin, apart from it's alot less greashy at the end of the day, it's really getting me down at the moment, i have been quite irregular with the time i take my pill do you think this can slow effects?? Can someone give me some hope please???
