hi lizzie-
i have found that using a mud mask really affects the quality and texture of my skin (i use Queen Helene mint julep mask- it's available in all drug stores)...you may want to try that before using additional topical solutions. aside from that, i'm sorry that i'm not much help, b/c my acne was never exceptionally bad, and diane really took care of that. but i really recommend this mask-- i've been using it for 3 years and am very happy with how my skin looks when i use it about once or twice a week. good luck!
