This is such a tough call. Ive been On Diane-35 since Oct. and I live in the US so its a pain for me to get it. It would be nice to just get Yasmin legally here. I really belive the Diane has slowed my hair loss and my hair looks alot better then it used to (I use rogaine 5% with it too). I couldn't find that articcle you were talking about if you could leave the link that would be great, Id like to see it. This is my opinion but I think that the Diane and its hybrid Dianette might still be better for those of us who suffer hairloss. I could be wrong in this. My reasoning is that cyproterone acetate in Diane is a derivative of Androcur in comparison to drospirenone, a derivative of Spirolactone. Androcur from what Ive heard is currently the strongest anti-androgen on the market. But I get tied when it comes to the doses. In Diane its 2mg compared to Yasmin's 3mg of drospirenone. Flipping back to the other argument, Ive heard of more positve responses from women who used androcur compared to spirolactone. Using Yasmin with a dose of spiro would be a good combo and more readily available from a physician. Alot of doctors don't like to prescribe extra androcur because of its potency. I dont know, its tough, need more info from Yasmin users before any of us can say one is better than the other.
