Hi Lisa, Well I never get pain burning or itching. The only thing I get every once in a while, is my head hurts like I had it in a tight pony tail. Oh and if my old boss blow drys my hair it hurts. If I put my bangs back with a clip and forget the clip, it hurts when I take the clip off and my bangs fall back in place. Maybe I'm weird. Who knows. Hugs Tig
