I have began another round, and this time the hairline is entirely gone. My TE started last Spring and so I never fully recovered. My hairline has moved in about 2 inches, and today, I used eye shadow to cover the entire scalp.
My front is especially bad and my nails now have horizontal ridges.
My ferritin is 37 and I kicked myself for quiting iron supplement in mid Jan. as I thought I was doing much better and the shedding has slowed.
Now, not only is the shedding back with a vengence, I also see no regrowth. in certain areas.
I hope to GOD that I will make it till this round ends and I promise never to stop taking my iron till the day I die.
Somedays my suicidal thought is so great that even I myself am scared.
I am certainly quite bald, though, with eye shadow, you can't tell. But if you look at my bangs, you would think the hairdresser over did it. Coz I had NONE.
Anyone with any sucess stories and documented facts to share would be appreciated.
Thanks for letting me vent.
