Tina: Hi. When the top of the scalp (crown) is MORE than just slightly balder than the rest of the hair (a great discrepency--meaning a significant difference)then there may be endocrine problems(thyroid conditions can mimick patterned baldness)or quite one may have aga (Kronberg, Bergfeld).
