Looking back, I first noticed that my body hair -- not my scalp hair -- was disappearing. At the time, I was not on a bcp, but my skin was extremely oily/broken out. at its height, i was losing about 100+ hairs in the shower/my brush.
since i have been on d35 and spiro, my hair loss seems to have stabilized (and my skin is great!), but i am wondering if the diagnosis i received from my derm (who simply looked at me and proclaimed "female pattern baldness") is correct. generally, my hair loss is diffuse -- somewhat noticeable at the front and top.
also, i seem to have hairs growing but some are thinner and some are normal sized...particularly around my left temple. is this minaturization?
specifically, i have been losing pubic hair as well as eyelashes and scalp hair.
does anyone know if aga causes the loss of body hair? should i be looking elsewhere for help.
