Chillllllllllllllllllllllllll.

It seems this all started over me here. to Tig, I did have a bout with areata back in 1996-1997. I did not lose all of my hair just patches and diffuse thinning on my head and body. This would still be classified as Aa not au. However, I am now being told the aa is gone and i have the aga. But I still do have the eyebrow and eyelash loss and hair loss on the legs.

I think i must have a mixed bag of wonderful hair loss evils going on and it almost makes it impossible to find what the suitable treatment would be for which disorder because they must be overlapping here. Hairloss many times expresses itself with similarities. Its such a pain in the XXX.

I was just wondering if anyone with aga has been losing eyebrows and lashes. It doesnt appear so. TE can also cause diffuse thinning of all other body hair. i started with a diagnosis ofof te January of 1996 which quickly expressed itself with aa patches and major diffuse loss. Now, seven years later no further patches have developed just the diffuse loss. HJowever, the dx is being based on the fact that they see these tiny vellus hairs. Dont think that happens with aa or te.

So you can see where it can be so very confusing.

Sorry to have caused such a mess here.

I feel that all of this fighting can be put to good use in helping and supporting each other and finding use in some things people may report.People will not alwasy agree with each other, i think we need to pay close attention to the way things are worded so as not to be interpreted as a diagnosis as many different treatments will react differently in all individuals.

I have found many things useful through the years of coming here and really can not beleive how all of you can just attack each other. Dont you think that we have enough crap to deal with the hair loss that we have to rip each other apart here too.

its crazy...........please stop////////i am almost afraid to even write this as i feel that i may too be attacked.
