Depleted iron stores can caused vellus hair. How do we know that drugs (such as zyban and)don't kill hair follicles? I don't believe aga is all over the head. It's crown and a little of the sides.I'm sorry to say this but if your doctor were a real expert in hair(he is known for his work in AA), he surely would not need a biopsy to tell this. In England biopsies are not used so much unless scarring is suspected and they seem to know a lot about te. Just my two pounds worth.
