I just finished accutane treatment a month ago and noticed during the last month of treatment minor hair loss. This loss has continued. The stories on this forum are frightening and I'm wondering If I should take action right away: should I talk to my dermatologist and get on some hair growth meds or should I just wait it out?

Just wanted to write a quick note and check in to let everyone know I am still growing my hair back. I promised to check in to let everyone know my progress. My hair shedding is almost normal and I have thousands of 1/2 inch to 1 inch hairs sticking up everywhere. My front bang area is all filling in along with my temple area. My bangs and temple area was hit hard with the accutane. I have so much more confidence and I don't think about my hair every minute of every day like before. I believe we all have the hope of regaining our hair. Like I said before, I didn't do anything else when I stopped the accutane in February. I don't take vitamins or use anything else on my hair. I know many are tempted to try rogaine and all the other stuff, but I believe you are further confusing the hair follicles. For the person that said the crusty hair thing was no longer falling out with their hair. The white ball thing on the end is an indication your hair is in the telogen stage. When your hair is falling out without the bulb that probably means your hair loss is due to mpb because it is an anagen or calagen hair. The bulb is not the root.
