I dont think you should be all that worried yet, lots of people lose hair after being on accutane but most of it grows back. Everyone on this website are those "rare" less than 1% individuals where it seems more persistent. My friend lost her hair after accutane but it stopped and grew back. My hairloss seems to be going away, granted i only took the drug for 2 weeks. There are almost no hairs on my towel after showering now. At one point there were like 30.

Hello, Ive been reading about all this stuff about accutane and all and Ive recently started shedding since using my acne medicines. Ive used so many.. including azelex and others. I have been shedding and currently am. I just turned 15 and the effect its had on me has tremendously brought down all self esteem and confidence in me. I wished if it had to happen that it would at a later age. My derm has put me on Rogaine but Im so afraid of the side effects it will have on me and have no clue whats gonna happen. As of now its been my 2nd week on it and i dont feel much different... still shedding. I hope i get through this. Ive been skeptical of medication lately. Nothing seems to work. Its just embarassing to watch thosehair transplant commercials and actually be interested in them. Can anybody help me?
