I took msn and biotin and calcium and iron and vitamin c for absorption. It hasn't helped in 6 months. Msn is for bone strenght and growth. It is expensive and I am not sure worth the money. These vitamins don't seem to be helping or hurting. The vitamin industry is out to make some bucks to, so beware. I think they are overpriced and your body only uses what little it needs, then you throw the rest out via going to the bathroom. That is why your urine can be a really orange or yellow color. If it makes you feel better taking it, then by all mean take it. I think you might be wasting money. How come most of the people complaining about hair loss are guys. Why are their doctors saying it is mpb. I read that mpb starts showing in late teens and early twenties. Maybe it really is mpb and the accutane kind of got things going. If that is the case then we are s.o.l. I think the women have a greater recovery than we do. You really don't see many women in their 20's with really, really see-through hair. It must grow back because lots of people are on perscription medications that can cause hair loss. Who is the guy that says his hair looks like chemo-boy? That isn't a very smart thing to say. My friend had chemotherapy and I don't think we are anything close to having what he is going through. Cancer is not something you take lightly. Losing hair is what it is, just losing hair. I am going to cut my hair really short. That seems to be the style and there seems to be a lot of women going out with guys that don't have much hair, so what the hell, go with it.
