Ouch indeed! I was burned by my ex's cigarette in the same way so I know how that feels. I don't even smoke. I don't know if aloe vera is good for acne problems, but it's very soothing for burns. Some good aloe vera lotion my help. My mom also used to put cocoa butter lotion on my siblings and I when we got sunburns. Good luck--and tell your friend to watch it. Best wishes, Jean
