I was driven half mad with itchy flaky scalp from the end of my accutane treatment for about 15 months, until a few months ago I tried a new shampoo. No common or anti dandruff shampoo helped, including Head+Shoulders, Selsun Blue, Neutrogena TGel, or Nizoral (actually Nizoral helped a TINY bit). Finally, I found something from a really good company that has a line of products under the name PhytoMe. Search out their website. They're Canadian, and I don't know where you are but you might be able to order their shampoo, called something like Fruit Revitalizing Shampoo. After a few months of using it, I have almost no scalp itch, and almost no flakes. A bottle seems to last forever too, because it foams up massively. Give it a shot if you can, it's all natural ingredients, so that's good, and it even suggests that because it promotes bloodflow to the scalp, it might help reverse hair problems like thinning. I haven't seen any regrowth, but having a non-tight scalp that I'm not constantly raking my claws through must be of some help anyway. Best of luck!
