Jessy: Hi. Now that you mention the severity of your depression and that you have a bipolar disorder, I think you need the help about wether or not to take antidepressants from your doc. When I spoke of going "all natural" I was speaking in general terms of those who may have depression b/c of a recent event or hair loss (SITUATIONAL DEPRESSION--TRANSIET DEPRESSION--NOT bipolar, schiz.affective disorders or the like). For my "situational depression", I choose to go natural--as I know being on meds would increase my depression if I were to suffer side effects along with additional alopecia.
As for suing the doc who gave you Accutane--did he/she know of your history w/ depression? Did he prescribe Accutane for you as a LAST RESORT medication for SEVERE ACNE? If you had mild acne and he gave you this medicine (within the last two years--remember statute of limitations), sue his ass.
