Thanks Lisa. I've been having a rough few days here lately and appreciate your words of support. My hair has been shedding since November and I just found out this week about the ferritin levels. I kept asking all my idiot doctors to run it and they all said it wasn't necessary. I should have insisted. Now I guess I should be happy that this looks like the problem but I am seriously depressed. I just can't help but worry that this doctor is yet another quack and that the iron won't really help. Maybe I'm just doomed to be a hairless freak forever. I've spent hours crying about this the past two days and I just can't seem to get my head together. Thanks for lending an ear!
