OOOPPPSS I was not done. What I wanted to finish saying is what might be apropriate for one person (taking large does of vitamins--like B, Biotin, iron, etc)does not work well with another person's chemistry, metabolism.
It has been suggested here on this forum in the past that folks take 3000mg biotin per day. For many this is fine but not all folks are able to metabolise this properly. I am one of these such people--I had off the chart high Biotin and B-12 in my system. Some other folks can't tolerate too much vitamin A and so on. Therefore, GO TO YOUR DOCTOR (and/or registered dietician)to get a tailor made supplement and nutrition plan for you. They have you history and bloodwork and the education to back it up. Do not let anyone on this site or any other tell you how much vitamins to take. It's good to share your experiences though to let folks know what has worked for you. Take care all. Lisa
