Diane: Hi! Hormones can be in the normal range for hormonal TE--that was not my concern. Specifically, I wanted to know if Bergfeld thinks that Aldactone is BENEFICIAL for NON-HORMONAL TE (such as hair loss from anorexia, drugs, surgery, accutane--these have nothing to do with hormones)?I hope I'm more clear now! Examples of hormonal TE are from childbirth going on/off BCPs,etc--I know Aldactone is sometimes used for these types of hair loss. Anyway, good luck on hearing from Bergfeld.
