Okay, I don't want anybody beating a dead horse without any cause but DON'T NECESSARILY BELIEVE IT JUST BECAUSE ONE DOCTOR SAYS IT!!!! I've come to realize ove the last two years that more often than not a doctor will "modify" scientific fact just to shut you up and make you stop showing up in their offices. Let me tell you this:
I went to a derm because of my diffuse hair loss (about half my hair over the last year and a half) and the tingling/itching/burning and pain in my scalp. He insisted I had Sebhorreic Dermatitis and AGA. I tried his medications to no avain so he performed a scalp biopsy which clearly showed NO evidence of SD. However in his letter to my Doctor he states I have "Sub-clinical Sebhorreic Dermatitis". I have NO dandruff and never have and the biopsy said I don't but he INSISTS that I do. The truth as I see it: he has no other answer so he's sticking o his guns. Hardly fair. PLEASE don't give up hope because one doctor just doesn't have a beter idea! Sounds like crap to me! Woulnd't be the first time!!
