I was away for a while and I noticed you posted to me on the other forum about my experience with the BCP. I think you have misunderstood. I have been on Mircette for nine months. Prior to that I hadn't been on a pill in about 18 years.

I read your history though and it really sounded like you were expriencing TE from going off the pill. I mean that just stood out so much from what you had said.

Now since you started again, I think that if your shedding is increasing again it may be due to the fluctuation of your hormones once again. It's that shift happening again that may be upsetting your balance and it may just take a while for things to balance out again.

You said you were having irregular periods. What did the doctor say about that? Did he think it was PCOS? Did he think that you were perimenopausal? You said you were one week late and one week and a few days late another month. I am not sure that I would consider this as a problem, but I am not a doctor.

Did you have your hormones checked? How has your shedding been in the last week? Any better? How long have you been back on? On August 5th you said something about seven days. I don't think being on the pill less than three months is giving your body enough time to adjust to the pill. Just my opinion.

Anyway, I hope things are better for you. I am sorry I can't say that I want "back on the pill and had great success." Try to be patient and give it time.
