I'm in the same boat as both of you- I am 8 1/2 months off the pill now and still experiencing hair loss and no regrowth. I have made the decision (a very hard one) to go back on the pill and on spironolactone. I am praying it is the right decision. I just think that if I DO have AGA I have to head this off at the pass. And since the doctors seem to think there is no way right now to tell whether what I have is TE or AGA, I guess I would rather try something than sit around and wait and keep losing more hair.
I never lost hair on the pill before (on it for 13 years) and so I'm hoping even though I'm trying a different pill, it will still help.
It's a hard decision, I know, and this whole hair loss mess is stealing my life away from me. It hs totally become an obssession even to the point of me driving everyone in my life nuts, considering quitting my job, considering suicide...the whole ball of wax. So I know where you ladies are coming from, and I am hoping we all have much better days ahead.
