Anaxor, you have to remember that I started the spironolactone at the same time as the bcp, so I don't know which one is really helping. I suspect it is the spiro though and the bcp is just keeping my periods regular.
My doctor told me and I have read that it takes about three months for your body to adjust to the BCP. So, I would think you would have to wait until that time to see results and benefits. I know that my breasts were so tender in the beginning that I thought I would die, but after time my body got used to it.
I did at one time have pimple-like bumps on my head, but they went away. I don't know much about acne, as I have only had a few minor bouts with it, but I can't see why one cannot have acne on their head. What did your derm say about it?
Anaxor, be patient and see what happens. It takes longer than two weeks, I can definitely tell you that.
Good Luck! Michelle D. ~;-)
