Hey Sandy--

Boy if I had a dime for every time I've heard about another doc saying "it's just stress" or "It can't be the birth control pill"....I'd be so rich I could fund Dr. Gho's research all by myself! I was more stressed in my 20's than I ever am now and hair has been coming out in my hands for 3 years. GOing on and off hormones can do this to you. But the stress would have to be extreme to make you lose hair! So I doubt that would be your problem. That change in BCP probably did it, particularly if the hormones levels of the two drugs are different. If there is less estrogen in the Microgynon you're taking compared to the orthocylen, that alone could make the shedding occur. Hopefully everything will resolve for you. Switching yet again could be problematic unless you just changed less than a few weeks ago. Just some ideas. Good luck to you. I've always wanted to live in Australia! What an adventure.

SLG
