I am 38 and have been taking bcp's for about a year. I started with one brand, do not recall which and had break through bleeding so we switched to Trivora. I noticed about three months ago my hair started falling out. I had a lot of hair so start with so shedding a lot wasn't unusual but i soon began to realize it was way more than normal and about a month ago , i realized i had lost about half of my hair. i had already decided to go off the pill due to weight gain but the hair loss started before i stopped taking it. i have no clue what is going on. Any help would be appreciated. i have an appointment with a doctor next week.
