My derm told me that even standard RDA doses of Vitamin A can cause hair loss, especially if you're sensitive to it. I had started taking Centrum vitamins after going off BCP and my hair started falling out, probably because I've never been a vitamin taker and my body wasn't used to the dose of synthetic vitamins. Anyway, I stopped altogether and my hair loss slowed over a three month period to normal levels.
