Okay- I read this here:
http://www.druginfonet.com/faq/faqestra.htm
"All estrogens are metabolized through fat and other glandular tissue into testosterone. The testosterone is the hormone responsible for hair loss. "
Soooo- if estrogen is metabolized into testosterone, how on earth can it be good for your hair? And why do so many things I read about AGA say that many doctors use BCPs as a tretament attempt at AGA. And why do so mnay things say that it is the surge of estrogen in pregnancy that makes your hair thick or the drop in estrogen at menopause or after pregnancy or stopping BCPs that makes hair fall if estrogen is being converted to testosterone anyway???? Does anyone understand this?
