spiro made my hair loss worse too, but i was taking it for hair loss at 100 mg per day. I went from losing about 100 per day to 500 per day within 30 days on it. I have since stopped and the loss is down to about 250 per day, but the damage is done. I wish i never took it, but i thought it would help not hurt. Now i have to seriously think about a wig, which i havent had to do in over 5 years, The spiro definately messed me up and now i am soooo depressed that i even attempted to mess with this problem.
If you see hair loss from this med i would definately stop staying on it only made me worse, but i beleived the doctor who told me it wasnt the spiro so i stayed on it.
