gina, thank you so much for your kind words.
I think that some people are sensitive to aldactone just like they are to bcp's. It alters the hormone levels and for some people its just enough to start a huge problem. Just like bcp's for example, some people achieve tremedous results for the hair using them and others will lose their hair using them.
Thats interesting about the lupus issue. I do have some form of connective tissue disease which i do not think helps my hair los problem. I do have alopecia areata, do you as well?
I am waiting for this stem ce4ll stuff that is going on in canada and europe. They are way ahead of the us, too much paperwork here.....toronto is not far away, so if they have it going on i will definately head up there to get some permanent solution.
I do not want to wear a wig, i did when the areata was bad and i looked like the bride of frankenstein will all this boufont(sp?) looking hair, and they cost me $3000. I do not want to go thru that hell again, besides they are so damn uncomfortable.
keep in touch as we do seem to have some similarities.
thanks olga
