My hair loss started when I was 16 years old. I started to have very oily hair and after that my hair began to fall (300/400 hairs per day) and I have had hair loss since then, now I'm 25 years old. I didn't have the bcp, and all my tests were normal. My father, mother and my brother have hair loss, my derm. told me I have aga. My first derm. prescribed me aldactone after one year with minox but I was too young and I was scared for the side effects, after that I was so desesperated and I began to go to many doctors, another doctor prescribed me androcur+diane 35, I was on it about one year and a half with no results, after that another derm. prescribed me accutane for seborrhea and it helped my seborrhea and my hair loss was better but still about 200/+ hairs a day, after that he put me on proscar, it didn't help and my hair loss was really bad so I was desperate and I tried proscar + accutane and the hair loss decreased tremendously but still 150 hairs a day, at this point a month ago I tried to add topical spiro and now I have 10/20 hairs a day, maybe this is only a stage, I don't now, but in many years this is the first time I don't have hair loss I hope this will last.
