HI Olga, Hope you see this! How do you know for sure that you have areata? I'm asking because on the sides of my head, I have almost no hair, but cover the areas with hair along my face. Make sense?

The sides haven't changed, except teh almost bald areas have extended to the bottom of my ears. What has changed is my receding hairline, and area along the temples.

This is pretty bad. When I wash my hair, that's when I lose it.

I'm just wondering if you got mixed diagnoses, too. Also, my hormones are starting to freak, I can feel it.

Sigh. I just don't want any more doctors....I would *love* some regrowth.
