My hair loss started in the front in my bangs area. It is now spreading to where you can see through it past my bangs. All along the scalp it is also thinning. The worst however & most noticiable is in the bangs. For the biopsy the doctor selected an area of most hair loss for the biopsy. First they numbed the area with a shot & then they took a piece of scalp & then stitched it up. It actually hurt for a while after the procedure and took about 3 or 4 weeks to heal which surprised me. Hope this helps!
