Hi Steph and eveyone, In one of your replies I read that one need to have serum ferritin 40 for shedding to stop and 70 or above for regrowth. Here is my problem, I have been loosing hair for 3 year. sometimes 100-150, shower days 300-400. I am loosing my mind. I had 3 doctors. The last one recently checked my serum iron. It was 63, but I am still shedding. Thyroid was ok, B12. I used to have eating disorder, but now I am not. I even gain a lot of pounds back, but nothing. I feel nothing will stop it, I lost all my hopes of gaining my healty, long hairs. What I believe is you can gain your hair back if you have a tyroid disease, or on a medication. When the problem is unknown, the result will remain unknown. I dont see minoxidil as a cure, because when you stop it, you'll loose them again. You have to depend on it all your life. I hope I am totaly wrong. I am sorry, but I am tried and hopeless. 3 doctors in 3 years, and yet no clue of any kind. Thanks Celine
