Hi Celine. Sorry to hear you are in hair hell with the rest of us. What type of doctors have you seen? You should probably see a dermatologist, a reproductive endrocinologist, a regular endocrinologist, and your GP. Don't take your doctor's word for it that your test levels are "normal". Get the lab results and look at them yourself. For instance the range of normal for thyroid is so wide you could drive a truck through it. If your TSH is 3, they'll tell you that's normal but it's probably not. Most women need to be between 1 and 2 to feel normal. Same with iron. The bottom of the "normal" category by the National Institute of Health is 10-15. The is VERY low and those levels of serum ferritin can certainly cause hair problems.
