Why did the 2nd md. tell you to stop? I am in EXACTLY the same situation and cannot bear it anymore. I will explain ...last feb. 2003 i had a bout with te. after the loss of my grandma who raised me...then in May, started studying for the bar which I didn't take...then started rogaine but only for 3 wks. and freaked out with the shed...then went to 1st endo. who gave me synthroid .05 although my tsh. was 2.5(normal) and aldacone 100mg. I noticed a breif decrease un the shed during Aug/Sept.03, but since then my temples have dwindled, hairline is terrribly thin and shedding is excessive. I have been to another endo. who says stop aldactone. My repro-endo says stop the synthroid, take birth control as I also have ovarian cysts. Whiting (derm) says very early aga, take rogaine. So, I am stumped by all of this . Can anyone tell me about their experiences. My bloodwork is within normal range...But since june my periods are extremly light, even WITH the aldactone!
