Hi Beta!!! It is so good to hear from you! Thank you sooo much for your reply, it was definitely worth the wait :). I hope you are busy doing something you enjoy!

Unfortunately, I think my shed is increasing again. I am losing not only my long hairs, but lots of two inch ones that I guess were new growth. It is so upsetting but i am sure you know all about that. I just don't know what to do anymore but i want to thank you for your kind words. They really mean a lot to me.

As for why the spiro may have made my hair worse- i have no idea. maybe it wasn't the cause but my hair had never fallen out as bad as it had while i was on it (1000+). of course it could have been a number of other things as well. AGH!!! that is what makes this so hard, the hair cycles in three month increments so you are never really sure what makes it better or worse. I don't know if I have androgen sensitivity. it has been mentioned to me before as a possibility (why went on aldactone and avodart) but how do you know for sure? and what happens if you treat yourself as though this were the case and it isn't?

I actually have VERY low estrogen. IT was me who wrote about natural ways to increase estrogen b/c i absolutely do not want to do on the pill again! there is a possibility that it was the pill surpressing my estrogen so we'll see... it could be anything- the pill switiching, the med switching,stress, thyroid (increased med end of Nov), and now the low iron diagnosis,...

How is your hair? Are you taking supplements? shampoo? meds? I can't thank you enough for your support and please let me know how you are doing. take your time responding. i understand that you are busy!
