Hi Emma. Wow, I hope I can remember the questions... Well, you are right, Aug. represented the 7-8 month after my grandma's death and 6 months after the initial fallout. BUT the thing is that between july and aug., I compounded the problem by adding synthroid, aldactone, and 3 weeks of minox use. SO now what? I wish I had read this forum and keratin before I started anything. I know NOW that if I had just stuck it out all would be over by now. I just wish I could turn back the clock...This has consumed me. My mom is so stressed about this that even she is losing some hair. I wish that I could just ONE time get into the shower without that sense of panic that overcomes me. What have you read about emotional stressed induced TE? I do know that when I was a long distance runner (pre hip replacement) and I was 25 lbs. thinner, I had the thickest "mane". Interestingly, my uncle who is a psychologist says that anytime a human being simulates "wilderness" conditions he/she is at the peak of health. Who knows? I once asked the question: why do homeless men have so much hair (no proper nutrition, no proper hygiene, etc.)? It really is interesting that they almost do live in the "wild", where their stress level really never reaches beyond the "fight or flight" mode. Just a thought... My name is Eveline, by the way, and I am Greek...probably one of the few Greek females who may have AGA. I was born and raised in the US, however. This whole thing has made me want to not even think about going there in the summer. People can be so critical. When my hair is wet it looks like 40% less volume. The loss is all over but mainly on the area around the temples, exactly where I applied the minox...Have you ever heard of women losing there and getting it back spontaneously? (Also, what's the deal with the TE forum? I hesitate leaving a message there.) Anyway, thanks for your interest. I almost forgot, how old are you again? I am 34, next month 35.
