PLEASE...I need help!! Looking for Answers

I don't really know where to start regarding my hair loss! My hair was perfectly normal this past summer. I was on a high blood pressure med (topral?) and prior to that lopressor. I noticed shedding of my hair late August and informed my Dr. of what was happening. She said stress....(hmmmm). I have been very anxious ridden over all of this...... I changed Dr's. and all through this I have had severe anxiety...depression and lost about 20 lbs. My eating habits are horrible because of the anxiety. I asked for a referral to a derm. who initially diagnosed TE. Two weeks later he did a scalp biopsy which in turn showed that it was either.. TE or possible aga????? I am very frightened as I don't know if it is aga or not. I would not have gone through the biopsy if I couldn't have an accurate diagnosis. Please...would some kind lady explain aga to me? My hair has thinned all over...texture is different.......and I am obsessing over this. My hair doesn't feel like hair anymore. Blood tests have been done.....and I may be going through my change. ANY info would be so greatly appreciated. Thank You Jan
