Dear Beta, I just read your post to Emma, and your loving energy made my eyes tear. there is always someone like you out there - god bless you. I'm 48, had a gorgeous head of hair until 2 years ago, when it suddenly started falling out. Doctors couldn't find anything wrong, although testerone was a bit high on one test, iron a bit low on another, thyroid low once. it seems the combination, plus natural hormonal changes, were too much for my sweet head! I also noticed it was just months after 9/11, and I work next to ground zero, and that day and the following year were immensely stressful just to come to work. i'm sure that put me over the edge. I have been on Yasmin and Spiro for a year. While my hair is much thinner, it is much better than it was. It seems to cycle. I also take Flaxseed Oil, C, B, Zinc and a multi. I also use Minoxidil 5% - specially compounded at Community Drug without propolyene glycol, since that made my scalp itch. Lately i have started guided meditations, for relaxation, positive outlook, gratitude, and healing. It can't hurt! I check into these sites every so often to see if anything is new out there. Thanks again for your good energy for all of us! Loraine
