Hi Emmalina! Thank you for all your good info!!! I have been to doctor after doctor about this period thing. I have gone a whole year without getting a period before and no doctor seems overly concerned which does not make sense to me. I have had my ovaries and pituatary gland checked and everything is normal. So weird. I don't know who there is left to go see??? My periods have always been weird though. I didn't get my first one till I was 15 and didn't get my second one till four months later. I had a few regular periods after that (never heavy and have never really experienced the horrible PMS my sister and friends go through) and then BAM hair loss, no periods and my relationship with the pill began.

I have taken Loestrin, Desogen, Ortho-Tri and Yasmin. This has been over a span of 8 years (ages 17-25). My hair loss has never slowed up while I have been on the pill. Although, I may not have realized if it slowed up at the time or not b/c I no longer really knew what "normal" loss was.

I read that the pill works for you? Which one? Did any pill ever NOT work for you? Did you have bad experiences on one and good experiences on another? Is you loss at normal levels now? Thanks for all your help!

lv, emma
