Gosh, I hate doing this but the "no or light period" thing for me perceeded my hair loss (at 35)....I attribute it to stress, diet, life, thyroid, babies, low ferritin, whatever but the end result is a "temporary menopause" and we all know what happens to some women during this time....hair gets finer, thinner and even loss for some. A friend of mine who make wigs said that when the HRT scare came out on the news (heart probs, etc) and women stopped it cold turkey she had women showing up 6-12 months later BALDING!!!! They needed wigs!!! Why? the sudden drop in estrogen. Some went back on it and regrew their hair. So I think the same applies to us. For some reason your body lowers estrogen production and out goes the hair. Some women are not affected by this while some are (lucky us). This is why Im on the pill. Lets see what estrogen will do to help.

Take care Emmalina
