Hi, I am new to this post, and I really didn't know where to write so I chose AGA, as I am doubting that's what I have.
I am 23, got married recently. In September I went through a relationship stress with my husband that lasted for about a month. I had all the signs of depression, plus my period was late. Strangely, I got my period the day we made up. It is during this stressful month that I noticed I am losing more hair than usual. After we made up, it seemed like the hair loss reduced (or it might have been an illusion). But then last week I got my period again, only 2 and a half weeks after my last one, and seems like my hair loss started again. Now I am losing hair constantly, mainly on the top and at the sides. I am completely freaked out, I want to go to a doctor but after reading these posts, it seems to me that doctors are not much help either. I live in New York, I know there must be good doctors here but I moved recently and don't know anyone. I also don't know if I should go to a dermo or to an endocrinologist. So I would really appreciate any kind of advice on what my hair loss might be due to, what doctor to go to, or what tests I should take. Also is there anything I can take right now, I read a lot about flaxseed oil, multivitamins,etc. but am scared to start anything new. Please, help! Thanks. Ann
