So sorry it has taken me awhile to respond. It is great that your test results came back within range. I didn't see a testosterone though, did you have that done and/or DHEAS? Good news about your thyroid too. Yes, you'll want to take those labs to your naturopath as well. They are very good at dicerning even the slightest subclinical findings. Your ferritin is looking good too. Mine was 31 two weeks ago- so I hope to be in your range about now. I am hoping for 100+ eventually. Got to keep it up.

I am taking the saw Palmetto (Bio Prostate) every day morning and night. I have noticed a decrease in oily skin/acne and maybe hairloss to the slightest degree. There are a few other things I am doing such as switching over to an organic tea tree shampoo that does not contain Sodium Laureth Sulfate in it. That might be helping my scalp condition. I don't know if you suffered from the sore scalp like many of us, but mine has greatly improved. Still shedding in the AM with shower and combing, but little during the day. What is your shed number now? Mine is about at 40 or 50 daily. Not a lot, but when you have been dumping for so long now, it seems like a lot.

I'm taking the Nature Thyroid that my naturopath suggested. I will check with her about continuing it. She thought maybe I would only need to use it for a few months and then we could check my T3 again with labs.

This sounds promising for you, Dorinha. Where did they get the original diagnosis of AGA anyway? Was it due to an elevated testosterone/DHEA?
