Hi, Virginia:
Good to hear from you! How are you? Things have been a little stressful for me as I still don't have a definitive diagnosis. My insulin/glucose resistance tests came back normal, so while my endo still thinks I may have PCOS, he is not entirely convinced. As it stands, I have an appt. next week with a reproductive endocrinologist up in Hershey who only sees PCOS patients. He's touted as a national expert and seems to be pretty well-respected, so I'm hoping he'll be able to provide better insight...
Unfortunately, my GYN isn't very knowledgable about hairloss either. When I saw her 6 months ago and asked her if the Ortho-tri that I was taking could be contributing to the problem, she said she'd never seen or heard of that before... I actually called my GYN's practice last week to find out who they could recommend for PCOS. Of course they first tried to convince me that they treat women with PCOS "all the time," but when I explained my complicated circumstances, one of the docs suggested that I go to Shady Grove Fertility Center. This may be a place for you to look into since you're having irregular periods. Their Web site (http://www.shadygrovefertility.com/Practice_Team.cfm) mentions a Dr. Robert Stillman, who is on faculty at Gtwn and used to be at GWU. He seems to be top-rated -- take a look. I understand your reservations about starting the pill. After my last experience on Ortho-tri, I have no desire to go back on any medication that's going to mess with my hormones. But if I have PCOS, I'll probably have to...
Good luck to you and let me know if you decide to check out Shady Grove--
Margo

In today’s rocky economic climate, most households are cutting back wherever they can. I too faced the problem and wated to cut down on cable tv, I tried P2P, but then not impressed with it. I started collecting ways to watch my favorite tv shows online. I have listed then in my blogspot, I try to cover as many tv shows and matches as possible, to help others like me to watch their favorite sports or tv shows online for free. But my list is not complete, I don't know where to find some international shows, for sports you have numerous resources, Can someone here help me with that? Please tell me you favorite shows that you watch regularly and also some ideas to cover them. If you need to know the shows that I cover, then visit my blogs Watch Online TV Shows for Free Watch Online Sports for Free
