Yes, I believe that you can still have AGA (AA is ALopecia Areata) even if your hormone levels are in range. What happens in AGA is that free testosterone gets converted to DHT. The DHT attacks the hair follicle and slowly causes it to produce progressively shorter and finer hairs until it stops producing hair altogether.

With some women who have AGA, their hormone levels are perfectly fine, even low, but their follicles are simply sensitive to ANY level of DHT.

Perhaps you can ask for a referral to a dermatologist to confirm your diagnosis. They can do a scalp biopsy, or even examine your head/take your history to determine what type of hairloss you have.
