I am shedding some of these spider web like hairs. It seems like my hair texture has definitely gotten finer in the past 15 months. And I started out with very fine hair anyway.
I am 15 months into this, have not had gotten a formal diagnosis. My loss is diffuse, in fact, I probably lose more occipital hair than crown hair. However, while I don't have the typical AGA pattern, I also have nothing that points to an ongoing CTE trigger either. So I guess it is a coin toss as to whether I have AGA or CTE. Indeed, I am wondering if the two aren't just two different entities that ultimately result in permanent hair loss. I had decided since I have no idea if this would stop, or improve, then I should not wait any longer to see if it WOULD stop and I started Rogaine last week.
I have no idea if this stuff is going to work for me since it is too early to tell. However, I am glad I started something that MAY help. I agree with you Hairsite. Waiting for months or even years to see if it will stop is a dangerous gamble. At least for those of us who have no identifiable on-going trigger. So many women have said they wished they had started treatment sooner. Doctor's just don't understand enough about female hair loss, especially diffuse female hair loss, to help much, other than offering Rogaine.

I just discovered SatelliteTV on my PC! Ultra cheap at only $50 once off to get the software and an account on the Internet. I get more channels(in HD I might ad) than I get on cable so tomorrow I reckon I'm going to cancel my cable subscription. Thought I'd share this with you guys, worth to check out.
